2. Prohibited Content and Activities
You may not use our services to host, transmit, or distribute content that:
- Is illegal under the laws of Guyana or any applicable jurisdiction
- Infringes on intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, etc.)
- Contains child sexual abuse material or promotes harm to minors
- Promotes violence, terrorism, hate speech, or discrimination
- Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Facilitates phishing, identity theft, or fraud
- Promotes illegal gambling, Ponzi schemes, or deceptive marketing
3. Resource Usage Policy
Our services are shared among many customers. You agree not to use resources in a way that negatively impacts other users. Prohibited activities include:
- Running cryptocurrency mining, game servers (e.g. Minecraft), or VPN/Proxy services on shared hosting
- Hosting file-sharing sites, torrents, or large backup archives
- Running cron jobs more frequently than every 15 minutes
- Using excessive CPU, RAM, or disk I/O that affects server performance
- Storing large volumes of archived email (over 30 days or 10GB)
Accounts found to be abusing resources may be suspended or required to upgrade.
4. Spam and Email Policy
OpsEdge has a zero-tolerance policy toward spam. You may not:
- Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) from our network
- Use purchased or rented email lists
- Send emails with forged headers
- Forward or filter email to external providers in a way that causes blacklisting
Accounts that cause our IP addresses to be blacklisted will be suspended or terminated immediately.
5. Security Responsibilities
You are responsible for the security of your own websites, scripts, and applications. This includes:
- Keeping software, plugins, and themes up to date
- Using strong passwords and secure configurations
- Removing unused or vulnerable scripts promptly
OpsEdge may suspend accounts that are compromised or being used to launch attacks.
6. Enforcement
OpsEdge reserves the right to investigate and take action against any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy. Actions may include:
- Warning via support ticket
- Suspension of services
- Termination of account without refund
- Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement
We act at our sole discretion and are not required to provide prior notice in serious cases.
